A terrible fire in the building in the city of Mangaf, Kuwait, 35 people died

At least 35 people have died after a fire broke out in a building in Mangaf town in Kuwait’s southern Ahmadi governorate. It is believed to have been a workers’ residential building, but this could not be confirmed.

Arab News reported this information on Wednesday (June 12) citing the country’s state media.

At least four people died in a fire in a building in Mangaf and at least 35 in another building nearby, a Kuwaiti official said. That is, he claimed that a total of 39 people died.

However, he also said that the number of casualties is not yet final.

Firefighters are still working to put out the fire. At least 43 people were injured in the fire, according to Kuwait’s state news agency Quna.

They were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, local media reported.
