Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says Israel’s continued bombing of Gaza and Lebanon is a “Zionist terrorist organization”.
He said this while addressing the meeting of the ruling Justice and Development or AK Party in the capital Ankara on Wednesday.
Erdogan claimed at the time that last year Israel chose the latter between being a state and a terrorist organization and since then it has been operating as a “terrorist organization”.
He also commented that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his ‘killer network’ are delusional and have embarked on a very dangerous adventure.
The Turkish president warned Israel at the time that its “illusion of the Promised Land” will ultimately plunge it into the sea of great disappointment.
He vowed that the security of the Turks would not be compromised and expansionist ambitions in the region would not be allowed to materialise.
At this time, Erdogan criticized the Western countries and said that they advocate a ceasefire in front of everyone. But sitting back, they started supplying weapons to Israel again.
“History will never forgive those who salute the monster responsible for the blood of thousands of Palestinian children, women and civilians,” he said.
The Turkish president also said, “We believe that we need to discuss more, we need to reconcile, considering the situation in our region.”
At the same time, Erdoğan also praised the resistance of the Palestinians in the last year. “We know very, very well that the Palestinian people are also defending the dignity of humanity and Muslims,” he said.
In addition to attacking Gaza since October 7 last year, Israel is currently carrying out air and ground attacks on Lebanon. More than 42,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since October 7, 2023.
