The new Hajj law is effective

The new Hajj law in Saudi Arabia came into effect from Sunday, which will last until June 20. Strict action will be taken in these few days against those who break the new rules and guidelines for Hajj.

According to the new law, those who perform Haj without permission this year will be fined 10,000 Saudi riyals, which is about three and a half lakh taka in Bangladeshi currency.

Anyone transporting pilgrims without permission will be jailed for six months and fined 50,000 riyals, which is more than 1.5 lakh taka in Bangladeshi currency.
