Hezbollah carried out the attack on Saturday morning. However, the Israeli army did not immediately respond to the attack.

Earlier, the occupying Israeli army launched massive airstrikes targeting southern Lebanon on Friday. The next day, Hezbollah fighters attacked the Israeli base.

An Israeli airstrike that day hit a mobile phone transmission site. which is located in Tay Harfa, Lebanon. A paramedic and a maintenance worker lost their lives in the attack.

After this attack, Hezbollah fighters are believed to have hit Israeli military bases in retaliation.

Hezbollah said it had launched an attack on an Israeli “surveillance installation” and that the strike had hit a direct hit.

The war between the Palestinian armed group Hamas and Israel began on October 7 last year. Hezbollah also started attacking Israel from the next day. Hezbollah continues to target Israeli infrastructure in order to keep occupying Israeli forces busy along the Lebanese border in addition to Gaza.

However, Hezbollah has not yet declared direct war against Israel. However, many fear that a major war may break out on the Lebanon-Israel border at any time.
