Israeli soldiers killed in Hezbollah drone attack

An Israeli soldier was killed in a drone attack by the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah. The drone attack took place on the Lebanese border in northern Israel on Wednesday. Rafael was on duty at the Lebanese border in Hurfish, a town in northern Israel. He was seriously injured in the drone attack and was sent to a hospital in the area for immediate treatment. Later he died when the condition worsened.

The Israeli army said that a reserve soldier was also seriously injured in the attack. The Iranian-backed Lebanese armed group Hezbollah has been targeting Israeli installations since last October in protest against attacks on Palestine.
