On one side of the western part of the Himalayan mountain range lies the Tibet Autonomous Region of China and on the other side the state of Arunachal. China has been claiming Arunachal Pradesh as part of South Tibet for several years. India is opposing it. India has always rejected this demand of China. On Tuesday, India’s Ministry of External Affairs said that China’s demands on Arunachal Pradesh are unreasonable.

This province has always been and always will be of India. Note that China has been claiming Arunachal as its territory since the 1960s. War has been fought several times between India and China, the two nuclear-powered neighbors, over this issue. The first war took place in 1962. The last war took place in 2020. 20 Indian and 4 Chinese soldiers were killed in the latest battle. Both countries have deployed large numbers of troops in the Arunachal-Tibet border area, although they have not engaged in hostilities since then.
