On the other hand, Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations has requested an urgent meeting of the organization’s Security Council. Al Jazeera reports that Israel’s UN ambassador, Gilad Erdan, has formally written to the president of the Security Council for an emergency meeting on Iran’s drone strikes against Israel.

In the letter, Erdan said, “Iran’s attack is a serious threat to world peace and security and I hope the Council will use all means to take strong action against Iran.”

In this situation, the UN Security Council meeting will be held on Sunday afternoon. Malta, the current president of the United Nations Security Council, said that the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) will hold an emergency meeting on Sunday at 4 pm local time in New York.

The meeting was called shortly after a formal request by the Israeli envoy to the United Nations for an emergency meeting on Iran’s drone strikes against Israel.

It should be noted that Iran launched hundreds of drones targeting Israel in retaliation for the attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, the capital of Syria.

On Sunday night, the soldiers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) started firing drones one after another at the occupying Israel. These drones rushed towards Israel one by one.
