The Iranian-backed Lebanese armed group Hezbollah launched a rocket attack on the border-close Israeli town of Kiryat Shomona. The group said the attack was carried out early Wednesday morning.

Hezbollah claimed that the attack was in response to an Israeli military attack on a village in southern Lebanon. However, there was no immediate response from Israel regarding the Hezbollah attack on the town of Shomona.

It is not even known whether there were any casualties or damage.

On Tuesday, the Israeli forces carried out a terrible air attack on the village of Habbariyah in the southern part of Lebanon. At least seven people were killed in an Israeli airstrike in the village of Habbariyah.

A few days after the start of the Hamas-Israeli war, the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah started attacking Israel in support of the Palestinians. Many members of the Israeli forces and Hezbollah have already lost their lives in the retaliatory attack.

Millions of people have fled their homes on both sides of the Lebanon-Israel border.
